MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION
Joining Claremont Yacht Club requires the submission of a Membership Application form. Once the correctly completed Application form and Nomination Fee is received by the Club; the form will be displayed onto the Member's Notice Board for a minimum of 14 days so that all Members are given the opportunity to consider applications. The applicant will also be asked to attend an informal meeting with Committee Members (held 3rd Thursday of each month). Once this 14 day period is completed, the General Committee meets each month to consider election of the new applications.
After election by the General Committee, a membership package will be forwarded to the newly elected members with necessary information about the Club, facilities and its use; you will also be issued with a membership card and Club security keys.
NEW MEMBERS' NIGHT will be held on a quarterly basis with an invitation extended also to your Proposer and Seconder

ADDITIONAL CHARGES TO MEMBERSHIP:
House Support Scheme (HSS) - Redeemable Vouchers
Claremont Yacht Club charges all Senior, Senior Dinghy, Social and Crew Members to ensure support of the Club's 'house' facilities. Charges are:
Senior Members $100 charged every 3 months (July, October, January & April) Senior Dinghy Members $60 is charged every six months (July & January)Social and Crew Members $60 is charged every six months (July & January)Yachting of Western Australia - AYF Cards
The club is an affiliated member of YWA. Your account will be charged for the cost of registering you for the AYF silver or youth cards.
Trophy Collection
Our Club prides itself with Member Participation. Senior members will be debited $11 & Junior members will be debited $5.50 annually to contribute toward annual trophy costs.
Junior Sailing Foundation Donations
This is optional, Members are billed in July & January $2.00 donation to contribute towards our Junior Development.
