Join Claremont Yacht Club

At Claremont Yacht Club, we pride ourselves on our Club’s location and our capacity to welcome and entertain Members and visitors.

As part of this capacity, our Members enjoy their own in-house chef and kitchen for use on all occasions.

Moreover, the public and local industry are also welcome to join as Social Members and host private functions such as weddings and birthday parties.

Clubhouse

Upstairs, our clubhouse features an atmospheric Members’ Bar and Ballroom which also serves as a function center. Both of which reflect the club’s long and rich history.

Additionally, downstairs is the more contemporary Deepdene waterfront bar and function area, named after the original building; Deepdene House.

Marina

As for boat owners, our jetty system offers security for your vessel, a refueling berth, and individual power and water services.

Membership Categories

Before you complete an application for Membership at Claremont Yacht Club, please take some time to read through and ensure that you are applying for the correct category of Membership. Each type of membership includes a set of rules relevant to the membership category, the Club and its values. We hope that you will share our values and interests with us.

The Club is an association of individuals who share a common interest in boating, whether they are boat owners or not. You will find that the Club provides you with opportunities to enjoy that common interest both on and off the water and all Members are encouraged to participate.

For Senior Members, there are events at which participation is mandatory.

Many events are organised throughout the year to ensure that you have opportunities to spend some time with other Members.

The personal information provided in your Application for Membership will be used to assess and process your Membership Application. Please note that applications for all categories of Membership are required to be posted on the Members’ noticeboard until acceptance at the General Committee Meeting. The Club protects the privacy of the information collected from Members. View our privacy policy. Claremont Yacht Club takes reasonable steps to ensure that personal information held by the Club is protected against misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure.
